What kind of response am I getting from my book? First, I’m amazed some people have finished reading it, and second, deeply grateful when they love the characters as much as I do.
One reader sent this snapshot as she turned pages with her young granddaughter: diving into the first chapter of The God of Sno Cone Blue. Probably not the right demographic, but darling all the same!
And this shot a reader posted the other day. My book on a treadmill, ready to distract from the pain of gain. I’ve never been much for reading while my head’s bobbing, but I’m impressed that others can! If only the print was bigger, right?
I’d love to see more snapshots, by the way. If you have a mind, post them on Facebook and let me know.
Other readers have offered feedback that kept me flying the past few weeks. Quoting just a few:

I really enjoyed reading this, and am now recommending it for my book club to read. It was very well written, and tough to put down! I’m looking forward to more books from this author.
and From a Portland reader
I just finished your book this morning. Such a beautiful story… such twists and turns throughout. The composition was stunning – going back and forth between generations.
I loved it!
Thanks again for the kind words. They’re a lifeline for the likes of me. If you’d like to take it a step further, I can always use more reviews. It’s super easy and user friendly. Just click through to Goodreads and Amazon and leave a few words. In the vast sea of marketing, it may seem like small fish, but without small fish, you can’t catch big ones, which is something I’m working on–I promise.
Before I sign off, here’s another look at my book signing dates for those interested. The first is this Sunday. As always, if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to leave a reply below, and subscribe to this site for updates and news on my next book.
